I’ve set up my online store about three years ago, as a digital showroom for a group of customers that didn’t have the time to frequently visit my showroom or atelier but were interested to see and buy my work. I didn’t advertise it, and when I opened my brick and mortar shop, I placed it on hold as some designs were selling before having the chance to be photographed and uploaded into the online space.
In the new shopping climate as many work from home or simply don’t feel like going on a physical shopping spree and the genuine request, and appreciation for quality and locally made products increased, a couple of months ago I started to update my digital showroom and create a visual platform that is diverse and offers flexibility. I am not an expert in this field, but I love to present the pieces that come out of my hands, so that they might find its happy wearer. Some items were sold a day after I completed them, others needed longer to be discovered and loved, but each time it was that beautiful match.
I encourage everyone to request a fitting before purchasing a dress, a top or some trousers. The fit of accessories, coats or vests is easier to estimate from a photograph. With a few exceptions (in the accessories range), everything that I create is one of a kind, but some designs can be recreated, using a different fabric and based on your standard size.
Lately, I started to re-organise my work flow and spaces as I moved one year ago to a house, that allows me to have an office space and a “photo shoot corner” - all the photos that you see with Pearl, Dahlia and Elyse (my vintage mannequins) are taken by me. The photos are not glossy and perfect, but I am trying to show as much detail as possible; if you wish more information, don’t hesitate to ask me! All the prices include 20% VAT and you can deduct this sum from your taxes if you purchase the designs for your business.
